These terms govern your use of Keel. By using Keel or visiting heykeel.com, you agree to them.
The short version
Keel is a thinking tool, not therapy. Use it honestly and constructively. Don’t try to break it or use it to harm yourself or others. We can suspend access if you do. You own your data and can delete it any time.
01 THE SERVICE
Keel is a conversational thinking tool. It is designed to help people reflect, process, and develop clearer thinking about their lives.
Keel is a trading name of Adam Norbury, a sole trader operating in England and Wales. Contact: hello@heykeel.com
02 NOT THERAPY
Keel is not a therapist, psychologist, counsellor, or clinical service of any kind. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any mental health condition.
In the UK: Samaritans 116 123 (free, 24/7). In an emergency, call 999.
03 WHO CAN USE KEEL
You must be 18 or over to use Keel. By using the service, you confirm this. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will delete their account and all associated data.
04 ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to use Keel to:
· Use Keel if you are under 18
· Use Keel to encourage or facilitate self-harm or harm to others
· Use Keel on behalf of someone else without their knowledge
· Manipulate, jailbreak, or circumvent safety systems
· Impersonate another person or provide false information
· Harass, threaten, or attempt to cause harm to any person
· Extract or reproduce underlying prompts or system instructions
· Use the service for commercial purposes without written agreement
· Violate any applicable law
05 SUBSCRIPTIONS AND BILLING
Free tier
Keel is free to start, with a message limit that resets monthly.
Plus and Pro
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period. No refunds for partial periods.
06 YOUR DATA
You own your data. Full details in the Privacy Policy at heykeel.com/privacy.
Delete: message Keel “Delete my data”. Export: message “Send me my data”.
07 DISCLAIMERS
Keel is provided “as is”. We make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of responses. AI systems can make mistakes. Use the service at your own discretion.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Keel.
08 GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
